What is the TPS?

 In

Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is a temporary immigration status granted to nationals of designated countries, and that allows them to remain in the US and work authoritatively.

The person holding the TPS may NOT travel outside the United States, however a permit may be granted in certain circumstances.
The TPS offers protection against deportation.
What are the expiration dates of the TPS for the different countries whose nationals residing in the US have been granted and what care should be taken to avoid losing that status?

The expiration dates are as follows:

El Salvador | Extension until March 9, 2012 Honduras | Extension until May 5, 2012 Nicaragua | Extension through May 5, 2012 TPS holders must be aware of USCIS announcements in the news a few months before the expiration dates of the TPS and must re-register with the USCIS for each period in which benefits They are extended. It is very important that you comply with the requirements imposed by USCIS or you may lose the great benefits that the T.P.S.
